How a pick gets made
Every pick should show its work
From the first note on a matchup to the result going up, the aim is the same: make the thinking easy to follow, and easy to come back to later.
1. Study the matchup
We go through recent form, how the opponent plays, the lineup news, the price on the board, and anything that could turn the read the other way.
2. Build the rundown
The pick, the number, the price, the risk, the games behind it and the written reasoning all end up on one card.
3. Follow the movement
You get a note when a pick goes up, when the line moves, and when lineup news changes the picture.
4. Track the result
Once the game finishes, the result and the units go on the same card as the original write-up, so the record and the reasoning never come apart.
